A panel opens on the right side of Word. Sign in with your Locarda username and password.

I installed it but I don't see it in Word +
Close Word completely and reopen it. If it's still not there, go to File → Options → Add-ins and make sure Locarda is turned on. If that doesn't help, try removing it and adding it again.
I can't log in +
First, make sure your internet is working. Then try logging in on the Locarda website to make sure your password is correct. If you're using Word in a browser, try clearing your browser history and trying again.
My templates aren't showing up +
Make sure you're connected to the internet and logged in. Check that your subscription is current, then close the Locarda panel and reopen it.
My report isn't showing up on my other computer +
Make sure you're logged into the same Locarda account on both computers. Both need an internet connection. If it's still not appearing, check if Word has any updates available.
Which version of Word do I need? +
Word 2016 or newer on Windows or Mac. It also works in Word Online (the browser version). If you have a Microsoft 365 subscription, you're all set.
Is my patient data safe? +
Yes. Everything is encrypted and HIPAA-compliant. Your case data is never shared or used to train anything. See our security page for more details.
Can I use it on more than one computer? +
Absolutely. Just log in with the same account on each computer and all your reports and templates will be there waiting for you.
How do I get updates? +
Updates happen automatically -- you don't have to do anything. If you want to check manually, go to Insert → Get Add-ins → My Add-ins, find Locarda, and see if there's an update available.
Can I change the templates to fit my office? +
Yes. Open any template, make the changes you need, and save it. Your customized version will be available every time you start a new case.
