Tip: You can also take a photo from the floating toolbar in diagram mode by tapping the camera icon. The photo will be added to your case media and you'll be prompted to insert or edit it.

Add to a Document Page

After capturing or importing a photo, you can place it directly onto a body diagram page.

1

Select the image

After taking or choosing a photo, a dialog appears with three options: Edit Photo, Insert into Page, or Save to Case Media.

2

Tap "Insert into Page"

The image will be placed on the current body diagram page.

3

Position and resize

Drag the image to move it to the desired position. Pinch to resize it. The image snaps into place on the diagram page.

4

Tap outside to confirm

Tap anywhere outside the image to deselect it and lock it in place. You can select it again later to reposition or delete it.

Edit & Annotate Images

Before or after inserting an image, you can edit and annotate it.

Crop and Resize

1

Tap "Edit Photo"

When the image dialog appears (after taking or selecting a photo), tap Edit Photo. Or, tap an already-placed image and select Edit.

2

Crop the image

Drag the crop handles to frame the area you want to keep. This is useful for focusing on a specific finding.

3

Tap "Done"

Save your edits and return to the workspace.

Annotate with Apple Pencil

In the image editor, you can draw on the photo using your Apple Pencil:

  • Circle or arrow to highlight specific findings
  • Write labels directly on the image
  • Use different colors for different types of annotations
