How is this different from a transcription service?
A transcription service returns what was said. Locarda returns a draft report: the transcript is cleaned up, organized by section and formatted in your office template.
Can we keep using our existing recorder?
Yes. Dictate live on iPad, or upload a Dragon or dictaphone recording you already made. Locarda drafts the report from either one.
Is it HIPAA compliant?
Yes. Locarda runs in a HIPAA-compliant environment with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. Details are on the Security page and the trust portal.
